About Isabel

My name is Isabel Plasencia, and my journey began amidst the bustling streets of New York City. I come from a family with Cuban roots, and their story is one of remarkable resilience and bravery in the face of adversity. Fleeing a restrictive regime, my parents were compelled to embark on separate journeys in search of refuge in a land brimming with promise and opportunity.

In the tumultuous 1960s, my beloved father took the courageous leap, setting the foundation for our family's future. Two years later, my mother followed suit, accompanied by my older sister, as they journeyed from Spain, where my father's roots lay, to the United States. Their path was fraught with challenges, yet marked by unwavering perseverance and determination, fueled by the dream of forging a brighter future for themselves and their three children.

In their new homeland, my parents epitomized the spirit of resilience and determination, working tirelessly to carve out a better future for my siblings and me. I fondly remember witnessing my father's unwavering dedication to us, often going to work despite illness to provide for our needs. Their relentless pursuit to provide for us bore fruit when my dad established his own business, a testament to their hard work and perseverance.
 
Meanwhile, my mother nurtured our household with faith, support, encouragement, love and care, embodying the essence of a devoted wife, mom, and God-fearing woman. Together with my father, they instilled a foundation of faith, strong morals, and value. Our household ethos revolved around three pillars, in this order: faith, family, and education – with schooling being non-negotiable.

During my formative years, my parents made a pivotal decision to step away from the demands of everyday life and establish a congregation. They felt a deep calling to spread the gospel and extend a helping hand to all those in need. Growing up in this environment of faith, I am profoundly grateful for the gift of knowing and being rooted in the Lord. There is no greater blessing than being nurtured in His love and truth.
 
Guided by my parents' unwavering faith, I completed my schooling and embraced the opportunities of corporate America. My ascent to the C-suite, a company's top management position, was a testament to my parent’s sacrifices and the foundation they provided. I understand the delicate balance between spiritual and corporate life, navigating challenges with grace and resilience.
 
I married my husband Rob soon after my college graduation, and together we raised two wonderful children. As empty nesters, we embraced a new chapter in North Carolina, where the warmth of the Bible Belt community dearly enveloped us.
 

Motivated by a profound sense of purpose to serve others in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and share the gospel, I have taken a significant step in expanding my ministry by formalizing my role as a Christian Life Coach. Grounded in my deep personal relationship with God, I extend guidance and support to individuals as they navigate life's trials and tribulations. Leveraging my diverse experiences as a devout follower of Christ, a dedicated wife and mother, and a seasoned corporate executive, I am committed to offering impactful assistance and spiritual wisdom to those seeking guidance and direction.
 
Central to my ministry is my unwavering faith in God, serving as the bedrock for all I do. The words from Wisdom 16:12-22 resonate deeply with me: "No medicine or ointment cured them. They were restored to health by your word, O Lord, the word which heals all humanity." It is this profound truth that drives my passion to empower others to discover the healing and transformative power of God's word in their lives, marriages, and careers.
 

I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to accompany individuals on their path towards wholeness and spiritual growth. With a heart full of humility and compassion, I extend an invitation to others to embrace the boundless love of God and experience the transformative power of His grace. My earnest prayer for each individual is rooted in Colossians 2:7, where it is written, “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness." (Colossians 2:7)
